13 of 14 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 295. Five printed columns. The last column holds descriptive text rather than single figures. For "Under sec. 10(l)" that cell is printed as five stacked items ("70 settled", "8 withdrawn", "8 dismissed", "108 alleged illegal activity suspended" (the word "suspended" is an indented continuation of that one item), "8 pending"); they are joined here with semicolons, which are not in the print, to keep them one cell. Dash rules fill the "Number of applications denied" cell for rows (a) and (c), and the last-column cell for row (c) (the rule there runs from the denied column across to the right edge); these are transcribed as empty. The "81" for "Under sec. 10(l)" is preceded by a stray printing speck that is not a decimal point or footnote marker. All four columns foot correctly to the printed totals (293, 87, 15, and 205 as the sum of the item counts in the last column).
