Trial examiner hearings and intermediate reports

p. 29. The crop is not a conventional statistical table: it is Chart 9, "TRIAL EXAMINER HEARINGS AND INTERMEDIATE REPORTS (PROCEEDINGS)", a bar chart for fiscal years 1958-1962. The only tabular matter is the data strip printed beneath the chart, which is what is transcribed here: the "FISCAL YEAR" label with the five year headings, and the two data lines "HEARINGS HELD" and "IR'S ISSUED". To the left of each row label the legend prints a graphic key swatch (solid black for HEARINGS HELD, horizontally striped for IR'S ISSUED); these are pictorial, carry no text, and are not transcribed as a column. The chart's own axis annotations ("PROCEEDINGS", the 0-900 scale) are part of the graphic and are likewise not transcribed. The last digit of the 1960 HEARINGS HELD figure is somewhat broken in the scan and could be misread as an S, but the bar height (~755) and the glyph shape support 759. Note that in 1961 IR'S ISSUED (692) exceeds HEARINGS HELD (690), and the 1961 bars in the chart match that ordering, so this is as printed, not a transposition.
