p. 242. Nine columns: stub plus Number/Percent pairs for All R, RC, RM and RD cases. Decimal points: in this 1-bit scan the decimal point in the percent columns is almost invisible, so the cells image as "100 0", "30 5", "1 6". They are transcribed with the point restored ("100.0", "30.5", "1.6"). Percents below 1 are printed without a leading zero, so single-digit percent cells are given as ".9", ".3", ".7" etc.; if the source in fact prints a leading zero, add it throughout. Doubtful cells (all resolved with the column arithmetic, which checks out everywhere else in the table): - "Before notice of hearing" under Consent election, RM percent: the glyph images as "19 0"; read as 19.6 (129/659 = 19.6, and the same 6/0 confusion appears elsewhere in this column). - "After hearing opened, before Board decision" under Consent election, RM number: images as "0"; read as 9 (142 + 9 + 13 = 164, and the percent .3 given is 1.3). - "After notice of hearing, before hearing opened" under Stipulated election, RD percent: images as "8 2"; read as 3.2 (18/561 = 3.2). - "Regional director-directed election", RM number: a stray ink stroke (a short diagonal, apparently a pen mark) overlaps the left of the value; read as 15 (12 + 15 = 27). - "After notice of hearing, before hearing opened" under Regional director-directed election, RC percent: the cell holds a parenthesised raised footnote reference, transcribed "(3)" (footnote 3, "Less than one-tenth of 1 percent"); the raised digit is blurred but 3 is the only footnote that fits. The All R percent in the same row reads ".1", though 3/10,242 is under one-tenth of 1 percent and would be expected to carry the same "(3)" marker; it is transcribed as it images. - "After notice of hearing before hearing opened" under Consent election: no comma after "hearing" is visible, unlike the three identically worded labels elsewhere in the table; the line is widely letterspaced, so a faint comma may have dropped out in the scan. Rows with dash rules (Regional director-directed election and its two sub-rows, in the RD columns and, for the last sub-row, the RM columns) are given as "". "287" in the By Board decision row carries a raised 2 printed to its left; it is recorded as the footnote marker 287^2. Printed percents that differ by one in the last digit from the quotient of the printed numbers, transcribed as printed: Consent election "After hearing opened, before Board decision" RM 1.3 (9/659 = 1.4) and RD 2.4 (13/561 = 2.3); Dismissed "After hearing opened, before Board decision" All R .2 (27/10,242 = .3); Board-ordered election RC 18.1 (1,638/9,022 = 18.2).
