p. 33. This crop is a full text page (p. 20, Twenty-sixth Annual Report), not a conventional statistical table. The only grid of data on it is the figure legend printed beneath Chart No. 12 ("TRIAL EXAMINER HEARINGS HELD AND IR'S ISSUED (Proceedings)"), which gives two series across the four fiscal years shown on the chart's horizontal axis; that legend is what is transcribed here. The chart title, the "Chart No. 12" line, the y-axis caption "PROCEEDINGS" with its scale (0 to 1200 in steps of 200), the black and striped legend swatches at the left of the two rows, and the surrounding narrative paragraphs are omitted. The legend figures are set in small degraded bold type and all digits carry some risk: 1959 HEARINGS HELD could be 515 rather than 513, and 1959 IR'S ISSUED could be 362 rather than 382. The 1960 HEARINGS HELD cell is the least certain: it reads as 758, but the corresponding bar tops out near 715 on the printed scale, so 753 or 713 cannot be excluded. The two 1961 IR'S ISSUED / 1960 IR'S ISSUED values (692 and 572) are confirmed by the body text above the chart, which states that trial examiners issued 692 intermediate reports in fiscal 1961 against 572 in fiscal 1960. The row label "HEARINGS HELD" is partly struck through by a printing blemish but is legible; "IR'S ISSUED" is printed with a raised apostrophe as shown.
