24 of 24 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 185. Eleven columns: stub plus two five-column panels ("Elections in which a representative was redesignated" and "Elections resulting in decertification"); these are two spanner groups over one set of rows, not two side-by-side panels, so all values stay on the same three rows. Column heading doubt: the second column of the first panel reads "Total valid rates cast" in the scan, where the matching column of the second panel reads "Total valid votes cast". "rates" is almost certainly a printer's or scan corruption of "votes", but it is transcribed as it appears on the page. Decimal points: the percent cells print as "87 7", "87 3", "93 9", "93 2", "93 3", "92 4" because the decimal point did not survive the scan at this resolution. They are transcribed as 87.7, 87.3, 93.9, 93.2, 93.3, 92.4; each matches the quotient of the valid-votes and eligible-voters cells in its own panel, confirming the decimal reading. Comma dropouts: the AFL-CIO cell under "Total valid votes cast" (decertification panel) prints as "6 343" with the grouping comma faint; transcribed as 6,343, which is consistent with 6,343 + 839 = 7,182 shown in the Total row. All eight numeric columns add correctly from AFL-CIO + Unaffiliated to the printed Total row, so no misprints are suspected in the body. The second header level of the stub column is blank on the page; the stub heading "Union affiliation" is a tall single heading and is repeated in both header levels per the convention. No footnotes are printed under the table.
