0 of 24 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 191. Five printed columns: the stub "Results" plus Number/Percent under each of two period headings. The table has two sections, each introduced by a "Cases decided by ..." total row followed by indented detail rows; the indented labels are given as printed, so "Board orders enforced in full", "Board orders enforced with modification", "Board orders set aside" and "Remanded to Board" each appear twice (once per section). Decimal points in several cells of the right-hand "Percent" column are broken or missing in the scan and read as a gap: "59 6" (Board orders enforced in full, courts of appeals), "12 5" (Board orders set aside, Supreme Court) and "1 0" (Remanded to Board, Supreme Court). They are transcribed as 59.6, 12.5 and 1.0; each section's percents then sum to exactly 100.0 and the Number columns sum to the printed totals (1,024+346+38+12+297 = 1,717; 70+11+13+1+7+1+1 = 104), which confirms the reading. Cells shown with a leader-dot rule (the 1956-57 Number and Percent columns on the "Board orders enforced with modification", "Remanded to Board", "Board's request for remand..." and "Contempt case enforced" rows of the Supreme Court section) are rendered as empty strings. A few stray ink marks appear in the 1956-57 Percent column beside "Board orders set aside" and in the 1935-57 Number column beside "Remanded to Board" and "Board's request..."; these are scan artifacts, not digits. The value ".7" (1935-57 Percent, partially enforced and partially remanded row) is printed without a leading zero, as transcribed. Supreme Court percents for 1956-57 are printed as 43.0, 43.0 and 14.0 (the typesetter's rounding of 3/7, 3/7 and 1/7), transcribed as printed.
