Ten columns, headed by a two-level header: "Temporary restraining order" spans the two columns "Date issued" and "Date lifted"; the other eight headings are tall single headings repeated in both levels. Crop/continuation: the table is cut off at the bottom — the last printed line is the 17-CC-29 row, and no footnote text appears on this image even though markers 1, 2 and 3 are used in the body. The table and its footnotes continue on the following page. Braced entry for case 16-CC-22: this one case number is printed with a tall brace grouping two parallel sub-entries, a Texas petition and an Arkansas petition. I have split it into two grid rows so each printed value stays in its own column and line: the first row carries the case number, the union/company (both printed once, spanning the brace) and the (Tex) line; the second row has an empty stub and the (Ark) line. The cells "May 4, 1954" (date temporary injunction granted) and the dash rules in the two restraining-order columns and the injunction-denied column are printed on the line that aligns with "Mar 19, 1954", so I placed them on the second row, but the surrounding brace suggests they may be intended to apply to the whole braced group. Footnote-reference-only cells: "Date temporary injunction granted" is a lone parenthesised raised 2 for cases 8-CC-29, 3-CC-42, 13-CD-36/37 and 2-CC-324; transcribed as "(2)" since the parentheses are printed and there is no accompanying value. Raised markers attached to values: "Feb 7, 1955^1" (20-CA-958) and "Sept 14, 1954^3" (13-CC-90). Type of petition column: all rows read "10 (l)" (section 10(l)) except 20-CA-958, a CA case, which reads "10 (j)". The letters l and j are small and similar in this type; I am confident of the 10 (j) because a handwritten arrow on the scan points at that cell, apparently flagging the same distinction. Periods after abbreviations are inconsistently rendered in this 1-bit scan: some survive ("Nov. 24, 1954", "Apr. 11, 1955", "Apr. 12, 1955", "Jan. 19, 1956", "Oct 24, 1955.", "Settled.") while others appear only as a gap before a closing parenthesis ("Bechtel Corp )", "Swift & Co )", "Pilot Freight Carriers, Inc )", "Texas Industries, Inc , and"). Where no period is visible I transcribed none and closed the stray space; the originals very likely printed "Corp.)", "Co.)", "Inc.)" etc. Likewise "Settled" for 13-CC-90 shows no final period while "Settled." for 3-CC-42 does. Dash rules ("------") filling a cell are transcribed as "". For case 14-CC-56 the two restraining-order cells appear genuinely blank rather than dash-ruled (a handwritten arrow stroke crosses that area), but either way they transcribe as "". Possible misprint, transcribed as printed: the union for 13-CC-90 reads "AFL-Retail Clerks and Local 1460 (Jewel Food Stores)"; the word "and" where a local-union designation would be expected looks like a typesetting error for something like "AFL-Retail Clerks Local 1460". Stub labels spanning two printed lines ("3-CC-40, 3-CD-9", "6-CD-33, 35", "16-CC-34, 43", "13-CD-36, 37.", "35-CC-28, 29.") are joined into one cell, and leader dots after the case numbers are dropped.

p. 198. Continuation page of an appendix case list (10(l) injunction petitions); no column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. Ten columns were counted from the vertical rules: case number (stub), union/respondent, a first date, section "10 (l)", two columns that are dash rules on every row shown, a column that carries either a date or a raised "(2)", another mostly-dash column, a second date column, and a final disposition column. The raised "(2)" that stands alone in column 6 on many rows is a footnote reference (footnote 2 is not printed on this crop). Because it is the whole content of the cell and the parentheses are literally printed, it is transcribed as "(2)" rather than with a caret. Column alignment check on row "2-CC-333": that row has dash rules in columns 4, 5 and 6, "July 11, 1955" in column 7 (one column to the right of where the other rows print their "(2)"/date), a dash rule in column 8, and an empty column 9. All other rows leave column 7 as a dash rule. The scan drops or nearly drops many periods after abbreviations inside the respondent names and the dates, e.g. "Motor Co )", "Crowley's Milk Co , Inc )", "Redwing Carriers, Inc , and Haulsmore, Inc )", and "Apr 22, 1955" / "Oct 6, 1955" / "Sept 30, 1955" / "Dec 7, 1955" / "Jan 27, 1956" where neighbouring rows print "Apr. 19, 1955" / "Oct. 7, 1955". These are transcribed as they appear; the presence or absence of those periods is low-confidence throughout, as is the trailing period on the final-column entries ("Nov 15, 1955", "Jan 9, 1956", "Withdrawn" on 10-CC-101-108). Row labels that wrap were joined: "2-CC-337, 338"; "21-CC-198, 200." (trailing period as printed); "2-CC-346, 347, 348"; "10-CC-101-108, 110-117" (printed over three lines as "10-CC-101-" / "108, 110-" / "117", the line-end hyphens being part of the range); "10-CC-119, 120". "9-CC-75" respondent reads "AFL-Hod Carriers" in the image with a broken/speckled "r" in "Carriers"; "2-CC-340" respondent "Cenit Noll Sleep Products" is as printed and may be a misprint for a similar company name. The section cell reads "10 (l)" (lowercase letter l, for section 10(l)) throughout. A partially cut line of small type is visible at the very bottom-left below the table rule, consistent with "See footnotes at end of table."; it is clipped by the crop and the actual footnote texts are not on this page, so footnotes is empty. Rotated running-head text ("APPENDIX A") in the right margin was excluded.

This is a continuation page: no footnote block is printed on the crop, so `footnotes` is empty even though footnote reference "(2)" appears repeatedly in the "Date temporary injunction granted" column (footnote 2 itself is printed on another page). I transcribed that reference as printed, "(2)", since it fills the whole cell rather than attaching to a value; the glyph in the 17-CC-39 row is less crisp than the others and could conceivably be a different digit, but reads as 2. Both "Temporary restraining order" sub-columns ("Date issued", "Date lifted") are dash rules in every row and are therefore all "". Dash rules elsewhere are likewise "". Scan quality: this is a 1-bit scan in which light abbreviation periods frequently drop out (the page shows e.g. "Sept 13, 1955", "Oct 17, 1955", "Co )", "W. H Arthur"). I restored those periods to the obviously intended abbreviation forms rather than reproducing the dropout, and likewise closed the typesetter's spaces before closing parentheses. Trailing periods after a closing parenthesis were kept only where visible, so their presence/absence row to row is at the limit of what the scan supports and should not be read as meaningful. Row 18-CC-32: the company reads "(Seeger. Refrigerator Co.)" on the page, with a stray dot after "Seeger"; I transcribed it as "(Seeger Refrigerator Co.)" taking the dot for scan noise (Seeger Refrigerator Company). Row 2-CC-360, 361, 364: "Industrial Prod" is printed without a visible period; I wrote "Industrial Prod." as the intended abbreviation. Row 2-CC-360, 361, 364 is set with braces grouping its three case numbers against two separate grants in the "Date temporary injunction granted" column; I joined the braced lines into one cell ("Oct. 31, 1955 Local 560 (consent) Nov. 1, 1955 Local 21"). The "Nov. 3, 1955" printed just below that brace sits on the first line of the next row and is assigned to 10-CC-131; the stacked brace work in that area is the single most likely place for a row-assignment error. Row 13-CC-110's "Aug. 30, 1955" and row 8-CC-37's "May 10, 1956." fall in the last column ("Date Board decision and/or order"), not in "Date injunction proceedings dismissed or dissolved"; same for "Settled." in row 2-CC-350. Row 2-CC-355 is the only row with an entry under "Date injunction denied".

The column rules give 10 columns: (1) case number stub, (2) union/respondent and company, (3) date filed, (4) statutory section, (5)-(9) five unlabeled date columns, (10) a remarks column to the right of the last rule. Most cells in columns 5-9 are filled by a dash rule (------) and are transcribed as "". Section column: the final character of "10 (l)" is a lowercase l that this 1-bit scan renders almost identically to a digit 1; it is read as l (Sec. 10(l)) throughout. Row 14-CB-353 prints a visibly different glyph and is read as "10 (j)", consistent with a CB case. Footnote references in column 7 are small parenthesized superscripts. All twelve are read as (2). In rows 3-CC-47 and 7-CC-42, 7-CD-18 the digit is blurred and could conceivably be (1) or (3); the rest are clear. Row 10-CC-130, column 2: the character between "B &" and "Motor Lines" scans ambiguously as either 8 or S; transcribed as S ("B & S Motor Lines, Inc."). Row 5-CC-51, column 2: the separator between "1355" and "1429" scans as a period rather than a comma; read as the comma of the local-number list. The scan drops many periods that sit before a closing parenthesis (it shows "Brown Shoe Co )", "Kroger Co )", "Triangle Finishing Corp )", "Baltimore, Inc )", "St. Louis City Water Co )", "Yaquina Bay Dock & Dredge Co )"). The same company prints as "Coca-Cola Bottling Co of St. Louis" in row 14-CC-88 and "Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of St. Louis" in row 14-CC-93, which shows these are printed periods lost to the 1-bit threshold; they have been transcribed as "Co.)", "Corp.)", "Inc.)". Stub labels that wrap onto a second line ("10-CC-136," / "137.", "17-CC-43," / "44.", "36-CC-45-" / "47.", "7-CC-42," / "7-CD-18.") are joined into one label; the single trailing dot on the second line is treated as a leader dot and dropped. A stray hand-drawn pen stroke crosses row 14-CB-353 just right of the section column, and faint marks along the extreme right edge of the crop are page-edge/bleed-through artifacts, not table content. A line reading "See footnotes at end of table." runs below the last body row but is sliced by the bottom of the crop (only the tops of the letters are present); it carries no footnote marker and no numbered footnotes are visible, so footnotes is empty.

p. 201. Continuation page of Table 20; column headings are reprinted on this page, so they are given. No footnote texts are printed under the table on this crop, so `footnotes` is empty. Footnote markers: in the "Date temporary injunction granted" column many cells hold only a parenthesised raised digit 2, printed as "(²)". Because the marker is the entire cell content and is not attached to any value, it is transcribed literally as "(2)"; it is a reference to footnote 2, whose text appears elsewhere (not on this page), not a numeric value. Doubtful / possible misprints: - Row "17-CC-39" (AFL-Machinists, District Lodge No. 71): the "Date injunction proceedings dismissed or dissolved" cell reads "Mar. 20, 1956", which precedes the filing date "Mar. 29, 1956" in the same row. Transcribed as printed; likely a misprint for a later date. - "Ruffalo Trucking Service" (rows 2-CC-379 and 2-CC-384) is transcribed as printed; the initial letter is clearly an R in the scan but may be a misprint for "Buffalo". - "George J. Hefler Drayage Co." (row 15-CC-47): the surname could read "Hefter"; "Hefler" is the better fit to the glyphs. - Row 39-CC-27: the union name is printed "AFL-Engineers, Operating Local 450" (word order as shown), kept verbatim. - The type-of-petition letter in "10 (l)" is a lowercase L (Section 10(l)), not a digit one. - Stub labels spanning two printed lines ("36-CC-48, / 49." and "39-CC-27, / 39-CD-14,21.") are joined into single labels. - Faint or broken periods after abbreviations ("Co )", "Inc )", "R. L Faubion") are rendered with normal punctuation. - A stray diagonal rule and small ink marks appear in the right margin of the lower rows; they are page artifacts and carry no data. Cells containing only dash leaders are rendered as "".

p. 202. Continuation page: no column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. Column count. I read 9 printed columns from the vertical rules: (0) case number, (1) name of case, (2) date, (3) section of the act, then five narrow disposition columns (4)-(8). Columns 2 and 4-8 are all the same width (~170-180 px at this scale) and every value in them is centred, which is how I split the apparently wide region between the "section" rule and the column that holds "June 11, 1956" into two columns: "June 29, 1956" in the last row (2-CD-127) is centred on the left half of that region, so it sits in column 4 and column 5 is empty. This is the single most uncertain structural judgement in the transcription; if that region is in fact one wide column, the grid has 8 columns and everything from column 6 rightward shifts one place left. Right-hand edge. The table's rightmost rule falls well short of the width of the footnote lines below it, which is unusual. I took the column holding the last run of leader dashes (column 8) as the last column, because in rows that carry leader dashes the dashes fill every empty cell out to that rule and stop there, with nothing beyond it. So I did not add a tenth, wholly empty column. Columns 5 and 8 are empty in every row on this crop. Section column. The entries read like "10 (1)" in this scan, but the character is a lowercase letter l — Section 10(l), the mandatory-injunction provision for CC and CD charges, consistent with every case number here. Footnote 1 refers to a 10 (j) injunction. Footnote references used as cell values. Rows 35-CC-35/35-CD-24, 2-CC-388 and 6-CC-119 carry a parenthesised raised 2 as the whole content of column 6; I transcribed these as ^2 rather than as a literal "(2)", since the raised numeral is a footnote marker and not a value. Footnote markers 1 and 3 are not cited anywhere in the body visible on this crop; they presumably attach to rows on the preceding page of this table. The marker on the third footnote is printed as a raised numeral that reads like an 8 in this scan; from the sequence it is a 3. Scan quality. Periods after abbreviations drop out frequently (the page shows "Inc )", "Co ,", "W. T Smith", "et al", "Dec 30"); where the spacing makes clear that a period is set, I restored it. "Locals S-426 S-429" (15-CC-49) is printed with no comma between the two local numbers. The case number of the 9-CC-84 row shows a doubled hyphen ("9-CC=84"), which I read as a speck on the hyphen. The last row's second printed line begins "-gineers" with a stray leading mark; I joined it as "AFL-Engineers".
