Eight columns: stub, then Total / AFL affiliates / CIO affiliates / Unaffiliated unions / "In which no representative was chosen" (these five sit under the spanner "Number of elections"), then Eligible voters and Valid votes cast, which stand outside that spanner. The two union-affiliation headings are set letterspaced in the original ("A F L", "C I O"); I have closed the letterspacing to "AFL affiliates" and "CIO affiliates". Arithmetic cross-checks all pass: every section detail block sums to its section line, and the nine section lines (Manufacturing, Forestry, Mining, Construction, Wholesale trade, Retail trade, Finance, Transportation, Services) sum to the printed Total row in all seven value columns. No misprints detected. In the footnote, the punctuation after "Source" and after "U" did not print cleanly in the scan (both look like faint or dropped periods); I transcribed what is legible, so the footnote may be intended as "Source: ... U. S. Bureau ...". A stray ink speck sits above the "U". A small stray mark appears in the stub margin near the "Industrial group" heading and another between the "Automotive and other transportation equipment" and "Professional, scientific, and controlling instruments" rows; both are scan artifacts, not footnote markers.
