83 of 83 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.

Reader’s notes

p. 183. Nine columns: stub plus Number/Percent pairs for All R, RC, RM and RD cases. Decimal points in the percent columns are very faintly inked in this scan and are dropped in many cells (e.g. the "All R cases" total prints visually as "100 0" while the RC total clearly shows "100.0"). Because the columns are uniformly one-decimal percentages and the point is legible in a subset of cells (100.0, 1.3, 1.5, .0, .6, .2, 5.7), I have restored the decimal point in every percent cell rather than reproducing the scanning gap as a space. No digits were altered. The sub-1 percents that print as a bare digit (rows "After hearing opened, before Board decision" and "After postelection hearing and decision", and "Otherwise") are transcribed as .8, .7, .4, .1, .9, .2 accordingly. The distinction between a plain "0" and ".0" is genuine in the source: the Dismissed / "After hearing opened, before Board decision" RM percent prints ".0" (a rounded non-zero share, 0 of 546 notwithstanding — it accompanies a 0 count, so it may itself be a misprint), whereas the "After postelection hearing and decision" and "Otherwise" RM and RD percents print a plain "0" against 0 cases. In "By Board decision" the raised 1 sits to the LEFT of 427 in the "All R cases / Number of cases" column; it is the footnote marker, not a leading digit, so the value is 427 with marker 1. Arithmetic cross-checks all pass as printed: the four method subtotals sum to their component lines in every column, and the six method lines sum to the printed grand totals (7,442 / 6,414 / 546 / 482). No misprints detected in the counts. The header word "Number" is hyphenated across lines as "Num-/ber of cases" and is joined here. Caption, footnote rule and page furniture omitted per instructions. Nothing appears cut off by the crop.
