Reader’s notes
p. 183. Nine columns: stub plus four two-column panels (All R, RC, RM, RD), each with "Number of cases" and "Percent of cases closed". No footnotes are printed under the table. Decimal points: in most percent cells the scan has dropped or faded the decimal point, so the image literally shows "100 0", "45 9", "25 0", "3 4", "25 7", etc.; a few cells ("22.4", "22.5") retain a visible point. These are one-decimal percentages throughout, so I have written the decimal point in every percent cell. The number columns are integers and contain no decimal points. Possible rounding discrepancy as printed: in the All R cases percent column, "After issuance of Board decision" is printed 25.7 while 1,917/7,442 = 25.76 (would round to 25.8); the column as printed nonetheless sums to 100.0. Transcribed as printed, not corrected. All four number columns' detail rows sum exactly to their printed totals. The scan is slightly speckled and the letter "i" often loses its dot (e.g. "issuance", "hearing", "decision" read as "issuance"/"hearıng"); row labels transcribed with normal spelling. Headings "RM cases" and "Number of cases" in the RC panel are lightly broken but legible.
