p. 180. Eight columns: stub plus 7 value columns, with "Valid votes cast for losing unions" spanning the three affiliate columns (A. F. L., C. I. O., Unaffiliated unions). Decimal points in the "Percent casting valid votes" column: only two cells (93.7 on "A. F. L.-C. I. O." and 50.0 on "Unaffiliated-unaffiliated") show a clearly inked period in this 1-bit scan. In the other eleven cells the period has dropped out and the digits read as e.g. "91 3", "87 3", "95 0". The column is a one-decimal percent throughout, so I transcribed all of them with a decimal point (91.3, 91.4, 91.1, 87.3, 91.3, 86.1, 83.0, 91.5, 92.9, 95.0, 79.7); a strictly literal reading of those cells would show a gap rather than a point. Periods inside the affiliation abbreviations are likewise faint and inconsistently inked in both the column headings ("A F L." / "C I O.") and some row labels ("A. F. L" on the 1-union row, "A. F. L -A. F. L.-C. I. O." on the third 3-union row). I normalized them to the "A. F. L." / "C. I. O." form used elsewhere in the same column. Cells printed as a dash rule are rendered as "" (empty): C. I. O. and Unaffiliated columns on the "A. F. L." row; A. F. L. and Unaffiliated on "C. I. O."; A. F. L. and C. I. O. on "Unaffiliated"; Unaffiliated on "A. F. L.-C. I. O."; C. I. O. on "A. F. L.-unaffiliated"; C. I. O. and Unaffiliated on "A. F. L.-A. F. L."; A. F. L. on "C. I. O.-unaffiliated"; A. F. L. and C. I. O. on "Unaffiliated-unaffiliated"; C. I. O. and Unaffiliated on "A. F. L.-A. F. L.-A. F. L."; Unaffiliated on "A. F. L.-A. F. L.-C. I. O."; C. I. O. on the 4-union row. On the "A. F. L.-A. F. L." row only one dash rule is clearly inked (under C. I. O.) and the Unaffiliated cell appears simply blank; both are empty either way. The "0" in the last column of "Unaffiliated-unaffiliated" is a printed zero, not a blank. Two stray specks appear in the scan — a small tick just under the "Total valid votes cast" rule in the "1-union elections:" line and another at the left edge of the last column on the "C. I. O.-unaffiliated" row. Neither is a footnote marker or a digit. Arithmetic check (not corrected in the grid): the Total row's components sum to the printed totals in every column (e.g. 25,370 + 25,705 + 1,558 + 101,091 = 153,724), and the column of eligible voters sums to 168,338, so no misprint is suspected.
