Eleven columns: stub, three summary columns, three columns under "Valid votes cast for winning union", three under "Valid votes cast for losing union", and a tall single "Valid votes cast for no union". Decimal points in the "Percent casting valid votes" column are faint or dropped in several rows of the scan (Total prints as "86 3", and likewise "85 2", "89 0", "82 6", "83 8"). All are one-decimal percents and each reproduces its own row's quotient of total valid votes cast over employees eligible to vote (e.g. 295,949/343,092 = 86.26), so they are transcribed with the decimal point. Empty vote cells are printed as dash rules ("------") and are transcribed as "". Printed zeros are kept as 0 and are distinct from those dash rules — e.g. in "A. F. L.-unaffiliated-unaffiliated" the winning-unaffiliated and losing-A. F. L. cells print 0 while the C. I. O. cells are dash rules. Arithmetic check: all ten numeric columns sum from the body rows to the printed Total row exactly (eligible 343,092; valid votes cast 295,949; winning 82,892 / 70,009 / 53,438; losing 19,838 / 22,424 / 13,467; no union 33,881), and the seven vote columns sum across to 295,949. No misprints detected. The footnote marker 1 appears on the caption, which is excluded per instructions; the footnote text itself is printed below the table and is retained.
