Reader’s notes

p. 172. Eleven columns: stub plus five case-type panels (All C, CA, CB, CC, CD), each with a "Number of cases" and a "Percent of cases closed" column. Decimal points: this scan drops most periods inside the percent columns. The page shows e.g. "83 4", "5 6", "1 7", "9 4", "3 0" for the two-digit values and a bare "9", "1", "5", "4", "2" where a leading-point value belongs. I have restored the decimal points (83.4, 5.6, 1.7, 9.4, 3.0, .9, .1, .5, .4, .2). Every restoration was checked against the printed case counts: each panel's case column sums exactly to its printed total (All C 5,962; CA 4,618; CB 1,052; CC 202; CD 72) and each restored percent matches the case count divided by that total to one decimal. Periods that do survive in the image are at All C "100.0" and ".9", CA ".1", CB ".1", CD ".0" (last two rows). No figure in a percent column was altered in value. CC percent, row "After issuance of complaint, before opening of hearing": a stray tilde-like mark sits immediately left of the value (printed "~9 4"); it is a scan artifact, not a minus sign or a marker, and 19/202 = 9.4 confirms the value. Likewise a short dash before the CA percent ".1" in the "After Board order adopting intermediate report followed by circuit court decree" row is a broken leader rule, not a sign. Footnote marker 3 is printed twice in the CD "Number of cases" column: on the total 72 and on 71 in the "Before issuance of complaint" row. Terminal periods on footnotes 1, 2 and 7 and the periods in "sec. 10 (k) of the act." are dropped by the scan and have been restored; "NLRA" is printed letter-spaced as "N L R A".
