p. 169. The table is one table printed as two stacked panels, A BY EMPLOYERS and B BY UNIONS, sharing a single set of column headings that is printed only once, above panel A. Panel B repeats only the "Cases"/"Workers" band labels, not the column headings, so the headings given apply to both panels. Placement caveat: the four label-only rows are not printed in the stub column. "A BY EMPLOYERS 1" and "B BY UNIONS 2" are centred over the whole table width above each panel's top rule, and the two "Cases" bands and two "Workers" bands are centred across the three value columns (Total / By agreement of all parties / By Board or court order) in their own ruled strips. They are recorded here as section rows with the label in cell 0 and the remaining cells empty. In panel B, "Workers receiving back pay", the raised 3 and raised 4 are printed to the left of 88 and 34 respectively; they are footnote markers and are written after the value per instruction. The leading digits are clearly separated and raised, so 88 and 34 are the values, which is corroborated by 88 + 34 = 122, the printed Total. Every printed total in the table equals the sum of its two component columns, including $891,556 = $460,156 + $431,400 and $37,890 = $16,010 + $21,880; no suspected misprints in the figures. Footnote 2 ends without a period in the original, as do footnotes 3 and 4; footnote 1 has one. Transcribed as printed. The scan is a clean 1-bit image with light speckle in the margins; a few stray specks sit in the blank area right of the "Workers" band in panel A and left of the "Cases" band in panel B, and these are page dirt, not printed characters. No part of the table is cut off by the crop.
