Column count: 11 (stub + 10 numeric), with two heading levels; "Valid votes cast for winning union" and "Valid votes cast for losing union" each span three columns, and "Employees eligible to vote", "Total valid votes cast", "Percent casting valid votes" and "Valid votes cast for no union" are tall single headings spanning both levels. Decimal points in the "Percent casting valid votes" column are lost in this 1-bit scan (the cells image as "85 6", "88 0", "100 0", etc.). These are one-decimal percentages, so I have written them with a decimal point ("85.6", "88.0", "100.0") rather than as a space, on the same principle as restoring the space-after-comma in digit groups. If a strictly literal rendering is wanted, each of these is printed with a gap where the period should be. Faded periods: several row labels and the heading over column 8 image as "C I O" / "A. F L" where the printing is light. I have rendered them in the table's regular style, "C. I. O." and "A. F. L.", throughout. "2-union elections" (row 6) appears to be printed without the trailing colon that "1-union elections:", "3-union elections:" and "4-union elections:" carry; this may be a dropped mark in the scan rather than a real difference. "A. F. L.-C. I. O.-unaffiliated", losing-union C. I. O. column: the leading glyph is heavy and could be read as 8 or 3; I read 3,217 (8,217 would be inconsistent with the row's printed total of 28,227). "C. I. O.-C. I. O." row, "Valid votes cast for no union" column: the cell is blank in the print (no figure and no dash rule), so it is transcribed as "". The other rows in that column all carry a figure, including printed zeros. Dash rules ("-------") used as not-applicable fillers throughout the six winning/losing union columns are transcribed as "". Stray printing artifacts (a tick above the "Percent casting" heading, specks in the C. I. O. columns of the "C. I. O." and "A. F. L.-C. I. O.-C. I. O." rows, a small mark left of "269") are scan noise, not footnote markers or digits. No row of the body is cut off by the crop; the caption and the footnote rule are both fully visible.
