Disposition of unfair labor practice cases closed, by stage and method, during fiscal year 1952

p. 298. Nine columns: stub plus four two-column panels (Number of cases / Percent of cases closed) for All C, NLRA C, CA and Other C cases. Decimal points in the percent columns are mostly lost in this 1-bit scan, so the cells read as "100 0", "88 7", "4 7", "11 0", "95 3", "13 9", "81 4" etc.; a few survive ("1.3", "1. 6"). I have restored the decimal point in every percent cell, which every value confirms arithmetically (e.g. 4,778/5,387 = 88.7, 35/43 = 81.4). The one cell where this is a judgement call is "After 10 (k)^2 notice of hearing, total", All C cases / Percent of cases closed: the scan shows a bare "3" right-aligned in the column, and 14/5,387 = 0.26 percent, so I transcribed it as ".3" with the leading period presumed dropped by the scan. Similarly footnote 1 is printed "See p 277"; I wrote "See p. 277". Footnote markers 3, 4, 5 and 6 are printed as raised digits to the LEFT of their values (e.g. "³ 6", "⁵ 16", "⁶ 4"); following the convention they are written after the value as "6^3", "16^5", "4^6". The percent cells carrying "0" for NLRA C cases on the "Before hearing" and "After hearing" rows are printed as a bare zero, not as a dash rule, so they are transcribed as 0. All interior sums check against their totals in every column (e.g. 4,778 + 14 + 595 = 5,387; 149 + 77 + 16 = 242), and no printed total appears to be in error. Two printed percentages differ slightly from the exact quotient by truncation rather than rounding (73/5,387 = 1.36 printed as 1.3; 6/43 = 13.95 printed as 13.9); both are transcribed as printed. The row label rendered "After cou1 t action" in the scan is "After court action". Two hand-drawn check marks in the left margin (beside "Before formal action, total" and "After complaint, total") and a wavy pen line crossing the table between the "Dismissed 6^4" and "After Board decision" rows are reader annotations, not printed rules.
