CROP: the table is cut off at the bottom — the last row (3-CC-19) is the final one whose text is fully visible, and the body clearly continues below the crop. No footnote block is printed on this image, so `footnotes` is empty even though markers 1-5 are used in the body; the footnote text must be on the continuation. FOOTNOTE MARKERS: cells holding only a raised parenthesized numeral in place of a date are given as printed, "(1)", "(3)", "(4)" — these are footnote references standing alone, not values, so there is no text for a caret to attach to. Raised markers printed immediately BEFORE a date have been moved behind a caret per the convention: "2Jan. 13, 1950" -> "Jan. 13, 1950^2", "4July 17, 1950" -> "July 17, 1950^4", "5June 22, 1950" -> "June 22, 1950^5", etc. COLUMN PLACEMENT WORTH A SECOND LOOK: for 16-CC-14 the entry "4July 25, 1950" sits in the "Date injunction denied" column, whereas the other marker-4 dates (20-CB-128/129, 20-CC-60, 13-CC-27, 2-CC-165) sit one column further right, under "withdrawn or dismissed". I have placed each under the column rule it actually falls between, so 16-CC-14 differs from its neighbours by design, not by slip. ABBREVIATION PERIODS: this is a worn 1-bit scan and periods after abbreviations drop out irregularly. I transcribed what is legible rather than regularizing, so some cells keep the gap where a period has vanished: "Corp )", "Co )", "Co , Inc )", "Inc )", "Ltd )", and month names appear both with and without the point in the same column ("Aug 23, 1949" vs "Aug. 22, 1950"; "Sept 15, 1950" vs "Sept. 19, 1950"; "Feb 27, 1951" vs "Feb. 19, 1951"; "Mar 12, 1951" vs "Mar. 7, 1950"). The stub heading likewise reads "Case No" with no visible point. None of these are my normalizations. MANUSCRIPT MARKS: a hand-drawn stroke crosses the stub beside "20-CB-128, 129" and a check mark follows "2-CB-141, 254"; both are ink annotations on the scan, not printed characters, and are excluded. A stray mark clips the left edge of "32-CC-3" but the case number is legible. CONSISTENCY CHECK: "Type of petition" reads 10 (j) for exactly the two CB cases (20-CB-128, 129 and 2-CB-141, 254) and 10 (l) for every CC and CD case, which matches the statute and supports the l/j readings against the digit-1 lookalike. Dash rules ("------") and leader dots have been rendered as empty cells throughout.

p. 330. Continuation page: no column headings are printed on this crop, so header_rows is empty. The body has 10 columns set off by printed column rules — (1) case number stub, (2) parties, (3) a date, (4) the statutory section ("10 (l)" / "10 (j)"), and six further date columns. Column assignment was made from the rule positions; most cells in columns 5-10 hold only a dash rule or are blank and are transcribed as "". Rows 6 and 7 ("Longshoremen & Warehousemen, Local 48" and "Local 13") have no case number of their own in the stub; they continue the "20-CD-17, 18" entry above. The small tick-like glyph printed at the left of the "Longshoremen & Warehousemen, Local 13" and "CIO-Brewery Workers" lines is the tail of a brace tying a multi-line stub case number to its row, not text, and is not transcribed. This is a 1-bit scan in which periods frequently drop out: abbreviation periods (Sept., Oct., Nov., Mar., Apr., Inc., Corp., Co., etc., et al.) are visible in some cells and invisible in others, and have been transcribed consistently in their conventional printed form. Where a comma appears to have been scanned as a period (e.g. "Nov 22. 1950" in row 20-CC-77 col. 3, "Jan 8. 1951" in the Local 48 row col. 5, "330. 370" in the 2-CB stub), a comma is transcribed. Trailing sentence periods after a closing parenthesis are kept only where visible in the scan, so some party names end with "." and some do not, as printed; single trailing dots that run to the column rule (Local 48, Local 13) were read as leader dots and dropped. Column 6 of the "16-CC-15" row contains only a faint stray mark/scan artifact (no legible text); transcribed as "". Columns 8-10 of the "Local 13" and "Newspaper & Mail Deliverers" rows are tightly set between neighbouring dash rules and may carry dash rules rather than true blanks; either way they are "". Cells reading "(1)" and "(4)" are parenthesized footnote references printed in place of a date, transcribed as printed. Raised markers attached to dates are given behind a caret ("Sept. 18, 1950^3", "Nov. 9, 1950^4", "Mar. 30, 1951^4", "May 3, 1951^4"). A "NOTE.—D..." line printed below the numbered footnotes is cut off by the bottom edge of the crop and is illegible; it is not transcribed.
