No internal inconsistency found. Doubtful typography (values themselves are clear): - Column 2 heading is printed "A F. of L." — the period after the initial "A" is not visible in this scan; it is almost certainly "A. F. of L." but I transcribed what is printed. - Footnote 2: the punctuation after "Source" (very likely a colon) is not legible, so none is transcribed. - Services row, Valid votes cast: the thousands separator is printed low/round so it reads like "8. 318"; context and the column total (1,335,683) confirm it is the comma in 8,318. - Mining row, Valid votes cast: the leading "2" of 21,596 is broken in the scan and resembles "2I"; the value is 21,596 (confirmed by the Mining detail lines 20,312 + 54 + 1,230). - Electrical machinery row, A F. of L. column: a stray ink mark follows "97"; it is a speck, not a digit or footnote marker. - Services row, A F. of L. column: a stray comma-like mark sits to the left of "93"; the value is 93. - The "Ordnance and accessories" row has a stray dot in the Unaffiliated unions column above the 0; it is a speck, not a marker.
