p. 235. Layout: the table is printed as two side-by-side panels of three columns each (stub, number of charges, percent). They are merged here: all 20 left-panel rows first (Total through "8 (b) (1) (2) (4)"), then the right panel, which begins with "8 (b) (1) (2) (5)" and continues through the two italic section lines "Recapitulation of allegations^1" and "Analysis of sec 8 (b) (1)" (both label-only; a double rule precedes the Recapitulation line). Headings: only the italic stub heading "Subsections of sec 8 (b)" is printed; the number and percent columns carry no headings, and the right panel repeats no heading at all. The centred all-caps line "B. CHARGES FILED AGAINST UNIONS UNDER SEC 8 (b)" sits above the table's top rule and is treated as the crop's caption, not as a body row. Periods: this scan drops many fine marks. Decimal points in the percent column are mostly invisible ("100 0", "8 5", "19 5", "33 0", "54 0", "51 7", "1 6"); they are restored here because the column is uniformly one-decimal percentages. Likewise "sec" in the headings is probably printed "sec." — left as seen, with no period added. The footnote's closing period is also not visible and was not added. Doubtful cells: (a) Total row — a short stray dash is printed to the left of 1,337 in the number column; it is not a footnote marker as far as I can tell and is omitted. (b) First right-panel row, "8 (b) (1) (2) (5)", percent column — the glyph reads like "0 2"; transcribed ".2" to match the left panel's ".2" for the same count of 3, but it may be printed "0.2". (c) "8 (b) (1) (2) (3) (4)" percent reads ".5" while 6 of 1,337 is 0.4 percent; transcribed as read, but the glyph could be a "4". (d) In the Recapitulation block, the "8" of "8 (b) (3)" is broken at the top and looks like "6"; transcribed as "8 (b) (3)". Stray marks also make some opening parentheses look like commas (e.g. "8 (b) ,3)"); all are transcribed as parentheses. Arithmetic check (not used to alter any cell): the 28 detail counts sum exactly to the printed total 1,337, and all six Recapitulation totals and the counts they aggregate are mutually consistent, which corroborates the number column as transcribed.
