p. 212. This page is not a numeric statistical table: it is a list from Appendix C (Cases Heard During the Period July 1, 1948-June 30, 1949), with two printed columns per panel — case number (stub) and case name — and two panels side by side separated by a vertical rule. No column headings are printed anywhere on the page, so header_rows is empty. Linearization: the page holds two blocks of two panels. Rows 1-15 are the first block (left panel 36-CB-4 through 2-CB-75, then right panel 2-CB-88 through 2-CB-110); row 16 is the full-width section heading "D. LMRA: CC cases..."; rows 17-23 are the second block (left panel 6-CC-17, 17-CC-2, then right panel 30-CC-3 through 35-CC-7). Runover across panels: the left panel's last entry, 2-CB-75, breaks mid-entry at the foot of the left panel ("...Locals 49, 86, 93, 97, and 102,") and continues at the top of the right panel, where the unnumbered line "104 (Wilson & Co., Inc.)." appears above 2-CB-88. I have joined that continuation into the 2-CB-75 row; it is not a separate case. The crop continues a section begun on an earlier page: the CB-case section heading (parallel to the printed "D." heading) is not on this image, so the first 15 rows carry no section label here. Case numbers are printed with en-dashes (36–CB–4); transcribed with plain hyphens. End-of-line hyphens have been repaired (Fisher-men's, Independ-ent, Unli-censed, Amer-ica, Offi-cers, Crafts-men, Inter-national, Ware-house, Con-struction, Electri-cal, Pe-tredis, Em-ployees, Lo-cal). Doubtful readings, all in the case-name column: "(E. J. Givren Shoe Co., Inc.)" at 1-CB-33 (the surname could be Givren/Gwren); "Bell International Picture, Inc." at 21-CB-72 (Picture may be Pictures); "(MacCanlis, H., Co., Inc.)" at 2-CB-109; "Ruthbell Coal Co." at 6-CB-10. The scan drops the dot on many i's (Laughlın, Unıon, Buildıng, Councıl, Dıstrıct, Vicınity, Electrıcal); these are rendered as ordinary "i". 21-CB-38 is printed without a closing period after "(Wilshire Pictures Corp.)"; transcribed as printed. Stray ink flecks appear in the left and right page margins and between the panels; they are not footnote markers. No footnotes are printed under the table.
p. 213. Structure: this is a case list with two printed columns (case number in the stub, charged party/union with the company in parentheses in column 1). It is set as two side-by-side panels separated by a vertical rule, with a full-width centred section heading ("E. LMRA: CD cases...") between the first pair of panels and the second pair. Following the panel rule, I have placed all left-panel rows first, then the right-panel rows, for each of the two panel blocks; the section-heading line sits between them in the stub with an empty value cell. No column headings are printed on this crop (the table continues from the preceding page), so header_rows is empty; the crop also begins mid-section — the heading for the CC-case section (presumably "D. LMRA: CC cases...") is above the crop. Column flow: the entries run alphabetically by union name down the left panel and continue in the right panel (Electrical Workers ... Oil Workers | Painters ... Teamsters), confirming the panels are one continuous list, not paired rows. Row 21-CD-19: the entry breaks across the panel rule — the left panel ends "...Agent, AFL Carpen-" and the right panel's first lines continue "ters, Millright & Machine Erector Local 1607 (Westinghouse Electric Corp. & Stone & Webster Engineering Corp.)". I have joined these into the single 21-CD-19 row (the continuation lines in the right panel carry no case number of their own). "Millright" is transcribed as it appears; it may be a misprint for, or a faint rendering of, "Millwright". Doubtful cells: - 35-CC-11, party column: reads "AFL Metal Polishers & Local 171" — the ampersand with no following name before "Local 171" looks like a dropped word or misprint; transcribed as printed. - 36-CC-1, party column: printed as "a Corp )." with a wide gap before the parenthesis; I have read the faint mark as the period of "Corp." Cf. 36-CD-2, where "Corp." prints clearly with its period. - 36-CD-2, party column: the entry is the last line on the crop and its opening parenthesis is never closed — "...Lumber Co., a Corp." The closing ")." is presumably cut off by the crop or falls on the next page; nothing was added. - 10-CC-11 and 21-CD-19 end without a closing period after the final parenthesis, as printed. - Hyphens kept inside proper names broken at line ends (Roane-Anderson, Irwin-Lyons, Todd-Johnson, Pettus-Banister); end-of-line word hyphens repaired (Lumber, Oilers, Service, Warehousemen, Schneider, Building, Carpenters, Machine, Engineering). "Pettus-Banister" and "Lumber" are letterspaced in the original and have been closed up. - Small ink specks appear above "Chicago" in the 13-CC-5 row and to the right of "Inc.)." in the 2-CC-61 row; these are scan artefacts, not footnote markers, and were not transcribed. No footnotes are printed under this portion of the table.
