Nineteen columns: stub, "Number of elections", then "Elections won by—" spanning six columns plus "No union" (7 columns), "Eligible voters" spanning Number and Percent casting valid votes, and "Valid votes cast for—" spanning Total, three union pairs and "No union" (8 columns). Decimal points: in this 1-bit scan the decimal point in many percent values is not rendered, so cells print as e.g. "16 7", "91 0", "100 0". I have transcribed them with the decimal point ("16.7", "91.0", "100.0") because other cells in the same columns show the point clearly ("2.3", "11.6", "4.3", "89.5", "82.8", "13.6") and every value reproduces the quotient of the two printed counts to one decimal place. F. of L affiliate-unaffiliated" without the period after "L", unlike the column headings and the last row; these may be genuine typographic omissions or faint periods lost in the scan, and I transcribed them as they appear. Arithmetic check: every column of the five detail rows sums exactly to the printed Total row (elections 132; A. F. of L. won 22; C. I. O. won 25; unaffiliated won 3; no union 82; eligible voters 18,773; valid votes 17,078; 1,978; 7,110; 728; 7,262), so no misprints are suspected. A narrow strip of vertical running text from the page margin is visible at the right edge of the crop, outside the table rules; it is not part of the table.
