p. 158. This is an alphabetical appendix list, not a numeric table: two printed columns (case number in the stub, company name beside it), set as two side-by-side panels separated by a vertical rule. Following the panel rule, the left panel's 38 entries (Abercrombie through Cascadian Fruit Shippers) are given first and the right panel's 41 entries (Case, J. I., Co. through Gaylord Container Corp.) follow; no left-panel entry is paired with the right-panel entry printed beside it. No column headings are printed. The three centred lines "II. Representation cases", "A. Cases in which elections were directed" and "1. NLRA—R and RE cases" are section lines spanning both panels; they are transcribed as label-only rows at the top. The third uses an em dash as printed (NLRA—R). Doubtful cell: the stub of the "Burnet-Binford Lumber Co., Inc." row reads "91-R-1328" in the scan. This crop is not a numeric statistical table but a page of the alphabetical case list in Appendix F (running head "Appendix F: Decisions Rendered by Board, August 22, 1947-June 30, 1948", page 151, omitted as instructed). It is set as two side-by-side panels, each with a case-number column and a company-name column; following the panel rule, all 40 left-panel entries are given first, then the 43 right-panel entries, in the two columns of a single panel. No column headings are printed, so header_rows is empty. The list is alphabetical and runs on from the previous page and onto the next; the left panel begins mid-"G" and the right panel ends mid-"R", so entries before "Gemco" and after "Royle, John, & Sons" are outside the crop. Blank lines separate alphabetical letter groups; they carry no label and are not transcribed as rows. p. 160. Structure: this is a continuation page of an alphabetical list of cases, with two printed columns per entry (col. 0 = case number, col. 1 = company name). No column headings are printed anywhere on the crop, so header_rows is empty. Panel layout: the page is set in two side-by-side panels separated by a vertical rule, and the centred section heading "2. LMRA—RC cases" divides the page into an upper half (R cases, alphabetically Rushton through Wyatt) and a lower half (RC cases, Ace through Bins). Following the single-panel rule, I transcribed in reading order: all upper-left-panel rows, then all upper-right-panel rows, then the section-heading row, then all lower-left-panel rows, then all lower-right-panel rows. Each half's alphabet therefore runs continuously in the output, which matches the printed alphabetical sequence. Specific cells: - Row "8-R-2101" / company column: printed as "Westinghouse Electric Corp.." with what appears to be a doubled terminal period (the entry just above, 4-R-1968, is the same company with a single period). Case numbers use en dashes in the original; they are transcribed as plain hyphens.
