List of cases in which the Board rendered decisions

p. 149. This is not a numeric table but an alphabetical list of cases from Appendix D, printed in two side-by-side panels (case number, case name) separated by a vertical rule. Following the two-panel instruction, each panel's rows are given one under the other in a single two-column grid: for the top block (RD cases) the left panel's 8 rows (10-RD-13 … 2-RD-2) come first, then the right panel's 8 rows (13-RD-3 … 18-RD-9); for the bottom block (UA cases) the left panel's 4 rows (17-UA-8 … 35-UA-3) come first, then the right panel's 3 rows (17-UA-598 … 35-UA-121). No column headings are printed anywhere on the crop, so header_rows is empty. The two centered/full-width section lines ("III. Union-Shop Authorization Cases" and the italic "A. LMRA, UA cases—…") span both panels; they are given as label-only rows in the stub between the two panel blocks, which is where they are printed. The running head and page number ("Appendix D: Cases Heard During the Period August 22, 1947–June 30, 1948 141") are omitted as instructed. Case numbers are printed with en-dash-like short dashes (e.g. "10–RD–13"); they are transcribed with plain hyphens. "Staples - Smith Display Co." is printed with spaces around the hyphen (justification/letterspacing artifact); transcribed as "Staples-Smith Display Co.". In the italic section line, "author- ized" is broken by an end-of-line hyphen and has been rejoined as "authorized". The crop appears to be cut off at the foot of the page: the UA list almost certainly continues below "35-UA-121 Universal Carloading & Distributing Co.", and the blank vertical gaps inside the UA block (after "Budd Co., The." and after "Eastwood, Benjamin, Co.", and in the right panel) are alphabetical spacing, not omitted rows. Blank space to the left of the right panel's entries is panel layout, not empty cells. Some trailing periods on names are as printed (e.g. "Univis Lens Co., The.").
