Reader’s notes
p. 112. Nine columns: stub plus four two-column panels (All C cases; NLRA, C cases; LMRA, CA cases; LMRA, other C cases), each with "Number of cases" and "Percent of cases closed". The four panel headings each carry a raised 1 footnote marker. Row "Closed otherwise" (under "Before formal action, total"), NLRA C cases percent column: the cell holds a parenthesized raised 2 rather than a number, i.e. the footnote reference "Less than 0.1 percent"; transcribed as "(^2)". Percent cells are printed without a leading zero (".2", ".0"), kept as printed. The scan leaves faint stray ink in a few places that does not change the reading: the "0" in the LMRA, CA percent column of "Otherwise" is broken-looking but is a zero, and the final cell of the last row ("Closed otherwise", LMRA other C cases percent) has a stray dot before it, reading ".0". All printed totals and component sums check out internally (3,382 + 261 = 3,643; 1,799 + 249 = 2,048; 1,162 + 3 = 1,165; 421 + 9 = 430), so no suspected misprints. The label "Compliance with intermediate report" is printed over two lines with an end-of-line hyphen ("intermedi-ate") and has been rejoined.
