Reader’s notes

p. 72. Five columns: stub plus two two-column panels of the same period headings (Number, Percent). The table carries one footnote marker (raised 1 on "Cases decided by United States circuit courts of appeals"), but the footnote text itself falls on the very bottom edge of the crop and is sheared off and illegible — only a partial line of type is visible — so no footnote string could be transcribed; it should be recovered from the full page. In the first panel ("July 1, 1947, to June 30, 1948"), the "Remanded to Board" row and all rows of the Supreme Court section are printed as dash rules (blank), transcribed as "". Printed percents use a space after the decimal point ("100. 0"); spaces removed per convention. "Board orders enforced with modification" in the Supreme Court section is printed 15.2 while 9 of 59 would round to 15.3; transcribed as printed. The 1.7 for "Remanded to Board" in the last column has a stray mark after it that appears to be a speck, not a period or marker.
