Reader’s notes

p. 163. This page is not a statistical table: it is the opening page of Appendix F, a two-column list of cases (case docket number in the stub, case name in column 1). No column headings are printed, so header_rows is empty. The appendix caption ("APPENDIX F" / "LIST OF CASES IN WHICH THE BOARD RENDERED DECISIONS DURING THE PERIOD JULY 1-AUGUST 21, 1947") and the page number (155) are omitted per instructions; the sectional headings "I. Unfair Labor Practice Cases", "A. ..." and "B. ..." are kept as label-only rows. The list is broken into small blank-line-separated blocks (groups of names beginning with the same letter); those blank lines carry no label and are not transcribed as rows. The section-B heading is printed on two lines and has been joined. Doubtful cells (this is a coarse 1-bit scan in which 3/8 and 1/I are easily confused): - "8-C-829" (Geraldine Novelty Co., Inc.): the region digit could equally be 3, i.e. "3-C-829". - "91-C-1461" (Pillsbury Flour Co.): the prefix reads as a 9 followed by a narrow serifed 1 ("9I"/"91"); there is no Region 91, so this is likely broken type or a misprint for "18-" or "19-". Transcribed as it appears. - "10-C-1933" (Atlantic Co.): the third digit is ambiguous between 3 and 8 ("1933" vs "1983"). - "5W-C-2122" (Gennett Oak Flooring Co.): leading character read as 5; could be 9. - "15M-C-1222" / "15M-C-1002": subregional letter read as M; printed without separating hyphens before the M, as shown. - "Tishoming Country Electric Power Association." transcribed as printed; the intended name is almost certainly "Tishomingo County Electric Power Association", and "Country" may be a misprint or may be "County" with a filled-in scan. - "People Motor Express Inc." is printed without an apostrophe or trailing s; possibly "Peoples" in the original. - "Arton Studios." — the first name could be "Acton"; read as Arton.
