p. 117. Eight columns: stub plus three under "Elections in which union participated", two under "Elections won by union", two under "Valid votes cast for union". The stub has no printed heading. Punctuation damaged by the 1-bit scan, restored to the column's uniform format and listed here: (1) "C. I. O." / "Valid votes cast for union - Number" prints as "263. 641" — the thousands separator reads as a bare dot (a comma whose tail was lost, or a misprint); transcribed as "263,641" to match every other count in the column. (2) "C. I. O." / "Elections won by union - Percent" prints as "55 0" and "Unaffiliated" / "Elections won by union - Percent" prints as "67 0", with no visible decimal point; transcribed as "55.0" and "67.0" to match the one-decimal format used elsewhere in those columns. The trailing period of the "C. I. O." label is not separately visible because the leader dots begin immediately after the O; written as "C. I. O." by analogy with "A. F. of L.". Stray scan marks, not footnote markers or digits: a tick above the 6 in "171,364", a dot to the left of "55 0", a short backslash above "Number" in the "Elections won by union" panel, and a pen-like slash in the lower right of the table below the last percent column. The footnote text prints "A. F. of L" without a closing period; kept as printed.
