Reader’s notes

p. 117. Seven columns: stub plus three two-column spanner groups (Elections and cross checks / Eligible voters / Valid votes), each split into Number and Percent. Decimal points: the scan drops or widely spaces the decimal point in many percent cells. Printed forms such as "100 0", "52 1", "57 6", "48 8", "10 3", "13 1", "0 1", "2 9", "51. 9", "49. 0", "13. 4" and "2. 0" have been transcribed as 100.0, 52.1, 57.6, 48.8, 10.3, 13.1, 0.1, 2.9, 51.9, 49.0, 13.4 and 2.0 respectively, on the same principle as closing up the spaces inside digit-grouping commas ("5, 589" -> "5,589"). All percent entries in this table carry exactly one decimal place, so no value is ambiguous. "Cross checks" (the Stipulated sub-row): the Eligible voters Percent and Valid votes Percent cells contain only a raised footnote reference in parentheses, printed as (1); transcribed as "(^1)" with no numeric value. "Prehearing elections": a small raised 2 is printed immediately before 163 in the Elections and cross checks Number column; recorded as "163^2". "Total" row: a faint raised speck sits just after the word "Total", above the leader dots. It does not match either printed footnote (footnote 1 concerns values under 0.1 percent, footnote 2 concerns prehearing elections), so I have treated it as a scan artifact rather than a footnote marker and left the label as "Total". Structure note: the two indented "Elections"/"Cross checks" pairs are sub-rows of "Consent" and "Stipulated" respectively; their labels are transcribed as printed, without the parent name. The footnote 2 marker is a raised numeral whose scan is slightly malformed but reads as 2.
