p. 116. Six printed columns: stub, Total, and four columns under the spanner "Identification of complainant". The stub column has no printed heading, so cell 0 of both heading levels is empty. "Cases" and "Workers" are panel/section lines printed centred across the five data columns with their own rules above and below; they are transcribed as label-only rows with empty value cells. In the "Strikers reinstated" row the A. F of L affiliates, Unaffiliated unions and Individuals cells hold dash rules (------), transcribed as empty cells; only Total (384) and C I O affiliates (384) carry values. The scan is a 1-bit halftone and several dotted i's/accent-like specks appear above the type (e.g. the stray marks over the caption and over "Total"); these are scan artefacts, not footnote markers — no footnote markers appear anywhere in the table. The period in "A. F of L" is printed after "A" only, as shown. All five columns of row arithmetic are internally consistent with the printed Total column (529, 51, 59, 176, 3,184, 2,779 and $899,297 each equal the sum of the four complainant columns), which supports the digit readings.
