Reader’s notes

p. 74. Nine columns: stub, "Number of cases", then five columns under the spanner "All cases with collective bargaining information available" (Total; Collective bargaining in effect Number/Percent; No collective bargaining Number/Percent), then "Company out of business" and "Information not available". The latter two headings and "Number of cases" are tall single headings repeated across all three heading levels, as is the stub heading. "Board order", "Consent decree" and "Court order" are indented sub-lines of "Compliance after formal action"; their label indentation is not reproduced in the grid. The percent cells are printed with a space after the decimal point ("67. 0", "33. 8"); transcribed without the space. The "Number of cases" column does not sum to the printed total (800 + 141 = 941 vs. 936 printed), which footnote 2 explains as removal of duplications; transcribed as printed. The three formal sub-rows (66 + 50 + 25 = 141) do sum to the "Compliance after formal action" line. In footnote 1 a stray scan mark sits between "Report" and "only"; read as "Includes 16 with Intermediate Report only."
