Note also that "Balkan Mining Co., and Pickands, Mather & Co." is printed with a comma after "Pickands" while "Biwabik Mining Co., and Pickands Mather Co." is not.

This is an alphabetical index page (Appendix C, company name / Volume / Page), not a numeric statistical table; the crop continues the list from the preceding page and breaks off mid-"G" at the foot, so rows continue on the next page.
