p. 103. Ten columns: stub, "Number of elections and pay-roll checks" (tall heading spanning both header levels), two columns under "Elections won by petitioner", five under "Valid votes cast", and "Percent of total votes cast for petitioner" (tall heading). The four section lines ("A. F. of L. affiliate, petitioner:", "C. I. O. affiliate, petitioner:", "Unaffiliated union, petitioner:", "Employer petitioner:") carry labels only. All eight numeric columns were checked against the printed Total row and every one reconciles exactly (elections 4,153; won 3,264; votes 1,126,501; A. F. of L. 267,118; C. I. O. 515,271; unaffiliated 140,780; no union 203,332), which resolved several otherwise ambiguous digits — notably 267,118 in the Total row, where the scan could be read as 267,113. "C. I. O. on ballot" under "A. F. of L. affiliate, petitioner:", Valid votes cast / Total: printed as "96. 110" with what looks like a period rather than a comma — almost certainly a dirty comma in the scan (every other value in the column uses a comma, and 96,110 is required for the column to sum to the printed total). Transcribed as 96,110. Footnote markers are small raised numerals printed to the left of the value in the "Number of elections and pay-roll checks" column; I have moved each behind a caret after its number (e.g. the raised 1 before 1,308 gives 1,308^1). In the "Employer petitioner:" section the "Number" and "Percent" columns under "Elections won by petitioner" and the final percent column are dash rules throughout, rendered as empty cells; likewise the scattered dash rules in the vote columns. In "A. F. of L. and unaffiliated union on ballot" (Employer petitioner), the lone "6" sits in the "For unaffiliated union" column, confirmed by the column sum. The crop shows the full table, caption, rule lines and both columns of footnotes; nothing is cut off.
