Reader’s notes

p. 69. Four data columns under two spanner headings (two date ranges), each split into Number and Percent; the stub heading "Results" spans both heading levels. Scan artifacts: dark smudges/ink blots sit in the left margin of the "July 1, 1942–June 30, 1943 / Number" column beside the rows "Board orders enforced in full" (60), "Board orders enforced with modification" (27) and "Board orders set aside" (9) in the Circuit Courts block, and again beside "Remanded to Board" (1) in the Supreme Court block. These are not footnote markers or digits — the values read 60, 27, 9 and 1 — but the "60" in particular is partly overlapped by the blot, so it is the least certain cell on the page. Percent cells are printed with a space after the decimal point in the original typesetting (e.g. "100. 0", "62. 5"); these are written here without the space. Several zero percentages are printed as a bare "0" rather than "0.0" (Remanded to Board 1942–43; Board orders enforced with modification and Board orders set aside in the Supreme Court block, 1942–43) and are transcribed as printed. The 1942–43 Supreme Court percentages (75.0 + 0 + 0 + 25.0) sum to 100.0, and the Circuit Court percentages (62.5 + 28.1 + 9.4 + 0) sum to 100.0; the 1935–43 Supreme Court column (73.2 + 19.5 + 4.9 + 2.4) sums to 100.0 and the 1935–43 Circuit Court column (52.5 + 32.3 + 13.8 + 1.4) to 100.0 — no arithmetic anomalies detected. No footnotes are printed beneath the table.
