p. 32. Eight columns: stub plus three under "Elections in which union participated", two under "Elections won by union", two under "Valid votes cast for union". Two heading levels; the stub heading "Participating union" spans both and is repeated. Doubtful cell: "Valid votes cast for union / Percent of total" in the "A. F. of L." row. It is printed as "41. 6" and is transcribed as 41.6, but the leading digit is not crisp at this resolution (4 vs 5 is the plausible confusion) and the arithmetic of the other two rows suggests the column is the union's valid votes as a percent of valid votes cast in elections in which it participated (515,271/833,406 = 61.8 and 140,780/300,332 = 46.9, both matching as printed). On that basis the A. F. of L. figure would be about 52.0, not 41.6, so this cell is either a misprint or a misread; it is transcribed exactly as it appears. Row labels "A. F. of L." and "C. I. O." end in a period that runs into the leader dots; the terminal periods are rendered as part of the label per the usual style. The "Number of valid votes cast" heading shows a stray comma-like mark before "cast" in the scan, treated as a typographic artifact and not transcribed. No footnotes are printed under the table.
