The crop ends just below the "Mining" row, at a rule; the table almost certainly continues onto the following page (no "Total" row appears here), so this is a partial table. In the "Fishing" row the cells under All cases Percent of total, All cases Workers involved Percent of total, ULP Workers involved Percent of total, Representation Cases Percent of total and Representation Workers involved Percent of total are printed as dash rules (------) and are transcribed as "". Possible misprint in the source: for "Automobiles", Representation cases Workers involved Number is printed 152,098, which exceeds the All cases Workers involved Number of 144,041 for the same row. The printed percentages (12.8 and 6.1) are internally consistent with their respective column totals, so the figure is transcribed exactly as printed, but one of the two numbers looks wrong in the original. A stray letter "K" is printed in the right margin, just outside the last column rule, between the "Other" and "Nonferrous metals and their products" rows; it is a scan/marginalia artifact and is not part of any cell. Similarly, faint stray dots appear before "90,477" (Food and kindred products, ULP Workers involved) and before "117,939" (Machinery, ULP Workers involved); these are print specks, not footnote markers or digits. Row labels "Aircraft and parts", "Shipbuilding and repairing" and "Other" are indented sub-items of "Transportation equipment (except autos)"; "Fishing" and "Agriculture and forestry" are sub-items of "Agriculture, forestry, and fishing". The grid is the stub plus 12 numeric columns, which read as three number/percent pairs of pairs (cases count, percent, workers, percent) for three case groups — all cases, unfair labor practice cases, representation cases — whose headings appear on the preceding page. The first four rows (Metal mining through Nonmetallic mining and quarrying) are indented continuation items of a mining group whose parent label is on the previous page; Motor bus transportation through Heat, light, power, water, and sanitary services are indented sub-items of the "Transportation, communication, and other public utilities" row. Indentation is not reproduced in the cell text. Horizontal double rules separate the mining block, the Transportation sub-block and the Services/Total lines; they carry no label and are not transcribed as rows. Dash-rule cells transcribed as "": Crude petroleum and natural gas production, last column; Warehousing and storage, 8th numeric column; Other transportation, 4th and 8th numeric columns. In the Motor truck transportation row, the value 5,157 is preceded by a small raised tick in the scan. There is no numbered footnote under this table, so I read it as a scanning speck or broken rule rather than a footnote marker and transcribed the cell as 5,157. Arithmetic cross-checks support the digits: in every data row the unfair-labor-practice case count plus the representation case count equals the all-cases count (e.g. 32+21=53; 349+296=645; 115+72=187), the Transportation sub-items sum to the 889/477/412 group line, and 4,817+4,334=9,151. Worker counts do not sum this way (e.g. Coal mining 8,219+35,036=43,255 against 41,590 printed), which the NOTE under the table explains. All values are transcribed as printed; nothing was computed or corrected.
