Number of cases and number of workers involved in cases received, closed, and pending, 1940-41

p. 27. Seven columns: a stub with no printed heading, then paired Number / Workers involved columns under each of three spanner headings (All cases; Unfair labor practice cases; Representation cases). A NOTE line is printed below the table but is cut off by the bottom edge of the crop; only its first line is partly visible and it reads approximately "NOTE.—The number of workers involved in all cases differs from the sum of the number of workers in...". Because the text is incomplete I have not entered it in `footnotes`. Small specks appear in the scan just left of "9,151" (row "Cases received, July 1940-June 1941", All cases / Number), just left of "2,911" (row "Cases pending, July 1, 1940", All cases / Number) and between the Representation Number and Workers involved cells of the last row. These look like scanning dirt rather than footnote markers, so they are not transcribed; no footnote markers are keyed anywhere in the table. Arithmetic is internally consistent as printed: pending + received = on docket, and on docket - closed = pending at June 30, in all six value columns. The year ranges are printed with a short dash ("July 1940-June 1941"); transcribed with a hyphen.
