The crop's top edge clips a line of running text (", are as follows:") that introduces the list; it is body prose, not a table row, so it is omitted. The "188" below the last row is the printed page number and is omitted. Value glyph note: in "Printing and binding" the thousands separator images as a period rather than a comma ("123. 292"). Every other amount in the column uses a comma, and 2,722,479 + 123,292 = 2,845,771 matches the printed grand total, so it is transcribed as the digit-grouping comma 123,292. Scan-quality note: this is a coarse bitonal scan in which 8, 6 and 0 frequently degrade (e.g. "Communications" renders as "7S, 313", "Supplies and materials" as "29, SSG", "Rentals" as "1GG, 1G2"). All nine detail amounts as transcribed sum exactly to the printed subtotal 2,722,479, which independently confirms the ambiguous digits in 301,060, 78,313, 55,526, 166,162, 29,886 and 8,893. No printed total appears to be in error. Row-label note: "Special and miscellaneous" images as "Special and. nriscellaneous"; the stray period and the "rn"/"m" confusion are scan artifacts of the printed wording. A faint speck precedes the 8 in that row's value (8,893); it is dirt, not a footnote marker, and the sum check confirms the value has no extra leading digit.
