0 of 24 figures sit in a row or column sum that works out.
p. 61. 11 columns: stub plus 2 columns under "Total appearances on ballot", 4 under "Won" and 4 under "Lost". The stub heading box is printed blank, so the stub cells of the three heading levels are empty. "Total appearances on ballot" is a tall heading occupying the first two heading levels and is repeated there. The footnote marker 1 is printed on the caption line (caption omitted per instructions), not on any row or heading. In the "Won / Valid votes cast / Number" heading there is a small stray ink mark resembling an apostrophe after "Number"; it is a printing artifact, not a footnote marker, and is not transcribed. The right-hand edge of the last column ("Lost / Valid votes cast / Percent of total cast") is slightly clipped by the crop: the final digits of 30.0 (row 1) and 58.5 (row 4) are partly cut, but both are legible and consistent with the printed totals (13,893/46,331 = 30.0; 5,827/9,965 = 58.5). Row labels end with leader dots, which have been dropped; the terminal period of "of L." and "C. I. O." is merged with the leaders and has been retained as printed abbreviation punctuation.
