p. 21. Five printed columns: stub, Cases, Workers involved, Total cases, Cases closed. The stub has no printed heading; the blank stub cell is repeated in both heading levels. Crop/truncation: the body is cut off by the bottom edge of the crop. The last visible row is "By transfer to other agencies"; the table evidently continues (no "After formal action" section, no closed/pending totals appear here). Footnote 1 is likewise cut off mid-sentence by the crop — only the words shown above are legible, and the lower half of that line's letterforms is clipped, so the reading is probable rather than certain. Doubtful cell: "Cases pending June 30, 1936" / "Workers involved". The second digit is ambiguous between 6 and 8 at this scan resolution (it reads nearly as "98,553"). I transcribed 96,553 because that is the glyph's most likely reading and it is consistent with the printed column (1,398,282 + 96,553 = 1,494,835, the printed total). Verify against the original if this cell matters. In the "Cases closed" column the first three rows carry a dashed leader rule, not a value, so they are transcribed as empty. Values under .5 and .3 are printed without a leading zero, as shown.

Four body columns: Cases and Workers involved under "Number of—", Total cases and Cases closed under "Percentage of—". Footnote-reference cells: several percentage cells contain only a parenthesised raised "2" referring to the footnote "Less than 0.1 percent"; these are transcribed as "(2)" because the parentheses are printed and the marker is the whole cell content (rows "By intermediate report finding no violation" in Total cases and Cases closed; "By compliance with intermediate report" in Total cases; "By dismissal of complaint or petition" in Total cases; "Compliance" in Total cases; "Refusal to certify" in Total cases and Cases closed). The raised digit is blurred in this scan but the only footnote printed under the table is numbered 2. Cells given as "": "By consolidation" / Workers involved and "Cases pending" / Cases closed hold a dash rule; "Total cases closed" / Cases closed is blank. "Cases pending" / Total cases is printed as "46 7" — the decimal point is not visible in the scan (the other decimals are set with a space after the point, e.g. "53. 3"); read as 46.7, which is consistent with 53.3 + 46.7 = 100. The small mark in the left margin beside "Dismissal of complaint or petition" is a stray ink speck, not part of the label. A partially visible line of small caps below the footnote (the heading of the next section, cut off by the crop) has been omitted.
